New Karate Classes at the Pavilion
The club's inaugural session if this Wednesday 6 Sept from 6 to 7pm and will continue every Wednesday.
I am the chief Instructor - 6th dan RENSHI in Tani-Ha Shito ryu Karate, 3rd dan Shotokan, DBS Enhanced, UK Coach, WKF World Referee, WKF Continental Referee, British & English Elite Referee, England Referee Commission member, Fully Insured (PI & PL), First Aid at Work qualified, FA Level 1 Coach, Dip Sports Psychology, BSc Hons, 50 years in Karate and also run Loughborough Karate Academy. The club is a 'Not for Profit' venture coached by volunteer but professional instructors.
Sessions are aimed at children and adults, teaching authentic Shito ryu karate and the modern Olympic-style sports karate, plus self defence with gradings for colour belts held at regular intervals enabling students to gauge their progress, The club is affiliated directly to the EKF English Karate Federation, National Governing Body which provides students with access to selection for the Olympics as in Tokyo 2021.
